Our Story
Jai Thai Travel is a small, curated hub of hand-checked tour and transfer operators across Thailand, every one personally vetted on the ground by founder Lars Hoorweg, who has spent five years building these relationships from Chiang Mai, in Thai. The model is a cooperative: operators keep 85% of what guests pay, own their guest relationships, and communicate with travellers directly from booking to day-of. The best travel experiences come from the people who live and work in these places. Our job is simply to check, personally, that every one of them is the real thing.

Travel Tips and Answers
Do I need to know how to swim to go snorkeling?
Basic swimming ability is strongly recommended. You do not need to be a strong swimmer, but you should be comfortable floating in open water. Life jackets and flotation vests are available on all tours for those who want additional buoyancy. If you are not confident in the water, let your guide know before the trip so they can stay close to you.
